Mobvoi TicWatch GTX Smartwatch


Mobvoi has developed a new low-cost smartwatch for the Indian market for connected objects. The company has introduced the smartwatch TicWatch GTX. Mobvoi has consistently been offering some of the best and affordable smart watches with Google’s Wear OS.

However, it is the first time that Mobvoi has launched the TicWatch GTX, which replaces Google’s Wear operating system. The smartwatch runs on the company’s proprietary operating system.

Features and characteristics of Mobvoi ticwatch GTX:

TicWatch GTX runs on a proprietary operating system. The device is powered by an RLC8762C chipset.the TicWatch GTX has 160 Kb of RAM and 16 MB of memory. It comes with a 1.28-inch TFT touch screen with a resolution of 240 × 240 pixels. It is a 48 mm chassis. The watch has an elegant round dial with two buttons on the right side. The smartwatch measures 48.7x11mm.

It uses Bluetooth 5.0 for connectivity. It is compatible with Android via iOS. And there is no Wi-Fi or GPS. However, the TicWatch GTX supports the sensor for heart rate PPG for monitoring heart rate 24 hours, monitoring sleep, push notifications, accelerometer from Bosch.

It can track 14 different sports modes, including outdoor running, outdoor cycling, rope skipping, swimming, indoor walking, Rowing, Freestyle, Climbing, indoor running, gymnastics, football, basketball, indoor cycling and yoga. It comes with an IP68 waterproof and dustproof rating. The device also comes with custom watch faces. The watch comes with a feature that extracts photos from your phone. Users can also download 17 additional watch faces from the Mobvoi app.

The smartwatch contains a 200 mAh battery. The company says it can last up to seven days with regular use and up to 10 days with the power saving mode enabled. The battery life is far higher than with any Wear OS watch. In addition, the device can be fully charged within two hours. It comes with a tilting gesture support to wake up, which turns on the screen when you move your hand to check the time.
